Set in the beautiful Rising Sun Country Park in between Forest Hall and Wallsend, This one starts with a downhill and you don't notice, but you certainly notice it coming back up again! There's lovely sections through woodland, but it can get quite muddy in the winter.
From Palmersville
Head right out of Palmersville, all the way to the roundabout, then turn right heading towards Asda. Find a safe spot to cross and then take the road on the left that loops around the Asda car park and follow it to the start area. Some GPS directions seem to think you can use Miller Close to cut the roundabout corner on foot but it seems to be fenced off these days.
